From 26 February to 3 December, Perugia and Assisi will host Francesco tra le righe, a cycle of meetings with prominent personalities from the world of Culture and Literature.

This event aims to make the Canticle of Creatures and Italian literature a crossroads for encounters and reflection on central human and topical issues, to bring citizens closer to the world of poetry and contemporary literature.

Francesco tra le righe will open on 26 February with the extraordinary event of the reading of the Canticle in 30 languages at the Convent of San Damiano, where the first part of the Canticle was composed.

Each meeting will include a discussion on a theme related to the Canticle of Creatures, also with a topical slant, to which will be added readings of texts and dialogue with the audience present. The text of Francis will be the subject of reflection by poets and intellectuals in all its various facets.
