Church of San Michele Arcangelo - Collazzone
The church of San Michele Arcangelo is found on what is now Corso Emanuele III, the ancient " decumanus vicus del castrum", at the centre of Collazzone.
In 1370 it was annexed to the convent of the Poor Clares of San Lorenzo "inside the walls" and it probably originated as primitive chapel of the castle. The barbaric monogram of Redemption is visible on low pediment of the entrance. Recently wall frescoes were discovered, dating from the 14th and 16th centuries.
