From 12 October to 10 November 2024, the Pian di Massiano area will host the 101st edition of Luna Park, one of the most eagerly awaited events by citizens with its 83 attractors and 122 rides including large, medium and small ones, numerous complementary activities such as gastronomic pavilions, seed stalls, cake stalls and crepes.    On Saturday 12 October, in the early afternoon, the inauguration is scheduled with the Band and Majorettes accompanied by dinosaurs walking around the event and, at 11.30 p.m., the traditional fireworks display.  Traditional events include the two mornings dedicated to the disabled, the Halloween party on 31 October, and the traditional ‘Children's Festival’ on 6, 7, 8 November. On the occasion of this edition, the fairground operators are launching a new photo contest called ‘Join the 101st Ride’, inviting everyone to take a photograph with their Luna Park pet.   Photographs can be sent by 25 October to comunicazioneistituz@comune.perugia.it.  The most significant pictures will be selected and exhibited at Luna Park until 20 November, helping to make this historic event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year, even more special.
