The focus of this itinerary is the medieval village of Corciano, famous for its many churches and located just a few kilometres from the centre of Perugia. This is a hilly but easy proposal. The only tough slope to be tackled is the one that brings you back to the 408-metre altitude of the starting point: there are no challenging inclines, but if cyclists out of training should leave some energy to face this climb of about 3 km.
The route runs through typical Umbrian hills, on secondary roads with little traffic, although there are a few intersections to watch out for. Olive groves, vineyards and cultivated fields will accompany you along the entire route. Before the Villa del Colle del Cardinale you will also face a short stretch of well-trodden dirt road. Be careful, but enjoy the view because it is one of the most striking parts of the entire route. SEE DETAILS ON KOMOOT
