Dettaglio guide
In the morning, we will move through the streets of the historic centre, retracing through the walls and stones a past full of important events that have marked the history of the city and its inhabitants: from the Rocca Paolina, built at the behest of Pope Paul III Farnese in 1543 on the ruins of the Baglioni family homes, to the Piazza Italia, symbol of Unity, ardently desired by Perugia patriots, as well as the Palazzo dei Priori, and the Fontana Maggiore, a sublime work by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano. Passing through the Etruscan gate, we reach the ancient Temple of Sant'Angelo, built almost entirely with 'spoglio' material from the Roman and Byzantine eras.
Afternoon: we will travel by coach to the "Umbriafiere" exhibition area in Bastia Umbra, where, in over 14,000 square metres of mouth-watering entertainment on the theme of cocoa and chocolate, we will be able to see and taste many new products and some of the unmissable musts of the now extremely popular event, for an unparalleled multi-sensory full immersion in the discovery of the much-loved Food of the Gods. Chocolate Experience, will be an area entirely dedicated to educational, experiential and visual activities related to the world of chocolate with meetings and workshops held by master confectioners and professionals.
