The traditional “Star of Miranda”, which lights up the Conca Ternana every year for the Christmas period, will start shining early this year and, from 12th November, can be admired in all its brilliance, while the numerous events scheduled for “The Christmas of St Valentine 2023” will take place until the evening of the Epiphany.

For the lighting of the star, an ad hoc opening ceremony is planned to commemorate and celebrate the 800th anniversary of the first depiction of the Nativity, which St Francis created in Greccio.

The installation consists of more than 80 lighting points carefully distributed along Mount Miranda, which towers over Terni; it has a diameter of 105 metres, while the tail extends for about 350 metres: it occupies a total area of 30,000 square metres.
