Perugia's Franco Bicini Theatre restarts with a theatre season that will offer a rich cultural programme, a total of 17 shows, from 28 September 2024 to 11 May 2025.
The opening show, to be staged from 28 September to 3 November 2024, will be ‘Quando piovono gli angioletti’, a brilliant comedy by Franco Bicini, with the Compagnia del Canguasto and directed by Mariella Chiarini.
From 9 to 17 November Ghigo De Chiara's one-act play ‘Eleonora, ultima notte a Pittsburgh’, produced by the Canguasto, directed and performed by Mariella Chiarini.
From 23 to 15 December, the comedy ‘Attenti al triangolo’ divided into two acts by S. Bobrick and R. Clark, taken from ‘Camere con crimini’.
On 26 December ‘Disney Songs’, a show that will bring the most beautiful songs from the Disney classics to the stage.
On 29 December ‘Fabio Ceccarelli Solo’, a project presenting the accordion as a fundamental instrument
On 4, 5 and 6 January, Eduardo De Filippo's comedy ‘Le bugie con le gambe lunghe’.
On 11 and 12 January Gianluca Foresi's show ‘Scemo profeta in patria - La lingua batte dove il satiro vuole’.
On 8 and 9 February, the Creuza de Ma Group's concert ‘Amore che vieni, amore che vai... De André e le donne’.
From 15 to 23 February, the play ‘La stampa della Comedìa’ by Massimo Cimbelli, about the events that led to the first printing of the ‘Divine Comedy’.
On 1 and 2 March, the interactive Giallo ‘Casting for a Crime’ by La Sarabanda Teatro.
From 8 to 30 March, the one-act play by Valentina Capecci entitled ‘Due donne e un delitto’.
In closing, on 10 and 11 May, ‘Spettacolo d'opera’ with ‘Il segreto di Susanna’, a one-act intermezzo on a libretto by E. Golisciani and ‘Il Bacio’, a chamber opera on a libretto by Mario Pozzoli.
