On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2024, edition 0 of the Summer Black Truffle Fair will be held in Sigillo.
The event will provide an opportunity to present this extraordinary product in all its aspects, throughout its entire chain. From harvesting to the table, with show cooking, where of course one can watch truffle dishes being prepared and tasted. 
In addition, visitors will also be able to learn about the truffle in cooking; the types present in Umbria and their characteristics; preservation techniques; and the flavours of the past revisited in a modern key. 
Tips for enhancing the taste of summer truffles will also be dispensed. An opportunity for those who live in Umbria to get to know its products and for tourists arriving here, in the kitchen and in the value of popular culture. 
On Saturday 6 July, the enchanting scenario of the terrace of the Il Gobbo restaurant will host a show cooking by Truffle Chef Carmelo Sorce.
On Sunday 7 July, at 9 a.m., it will be the turn of the truffle search competition with dogs registered from all over Italy.
