“Sacred Theatre” is going to take place in Assisi from the 8th to the 10th September: for three days scholars from all Europe are going to meet in the Seraphic Town to discuss old documents, from the Middle Ages onwards, as well as the new languages of literature and the scenic structure concerning the sacred theatre.

The Conference will be organized in three days: the first one will focus on the Umbrian laudes, among philology and theatre, the second day will tackle the theme From the Jeu d’Adam to the Gesuiti Theatre, whilst the conclusion will be a work session devoted to the 20th-century Renaissance of the sacred theatre.

Each day of the conference will be closed by a show.
