The village of Poreta
In the heart of Umbria, between Spoleto, Campello and the Springs of Clitunno, ensconced in the silver of the olive tree hills, is the settlement of Poreta, formerly a villa, which only became a fortified village in the last years of the 13th century.
Around the second half of the 15th century, due to frequent raids by bands of brigands, a wall was erected around the ancient village.
