Screenings at Cantina Blasi, Umbertide
Il vegetale, the film by Gennaro Nunziante starring Fabio Rovazzi and Luca Zingaretti, was filmed in one of the most beautiful places in Umbria, Lake Piediluco, a wonderful location for a comedy about the land and its fruits. And it is also a film about finding one's own path in life, which is what the two protagonists of Quanto basta, a delicate comedy starring Vinicio Marchioni in the role of a chef who is assigned, in order to finish serving a prison sentence caused by his irascible character, to teach a job to autistic children in an institute. And here, he will find the missing ingredient in his life, a great lesson for the boys of the Da Vinci Campus to whom the screening is dedicated.
And then the great master Terry Gilliam, president of the festival and honorary citizen. In Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the two protagonists, Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro, drink Singapore Sling, a cocktail that is one of the workhorses of Sara Polidori, Barlady World Champion and excellence of the Upper Tiber Valley.
Excursion Montecorona Abbey - Umbertide
Concluding the project will be an excursion starting from Montecorona Abbey in Umbertide, a splendid 11th-century Camaldolese hermitage and the location of some scenes from Pupi Avati's ‘Life of Dante’;
