From 7 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 the exhibition ‘Anche a Natale i Giocattoli lavorano!’, an exhibition of vintage games and toys on the world of work, organised by the Museo del Giocattolo Perugia with the support of Consorzio Perugia in Centro and the collaboration of the Municipality of Perugia, will be open to visitors at the Loggia dei Lanari.
The merchant, the worker, the teacher, the typist, the bricklayer, the architect, the writer, the astronaut: each old toy will tell the peculiar characteristics of trades and professions. The boys and girls of yesteryear also learned through imaginative toys that as adults they would work towards a dignified and honest, and possibly happy, existence. ‘What will I do when I grow up?’ The possibility of having an answer, or rather, several answers, is a right that cannot be denied even to today's children.
Admission to the exhibition is free; opening hours are as follows: daily from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
