From 25 October 2024 to 2 March 2025, Anne Donnelly's exhibition ‘On the Wings of the Soul’ will be on show at the Wine Museum in Torgiano, as part of the third edition of Torgiano Winter.
The exhibition represents a journey divided between four different paths that reach the same goal: a personal and intimate vision of reality and life. 
A path of thirty-five works, including oils on paper and canvas and ink drawings, spread along the museum itinerary in a continuous dialogue between ancient and contemporary.
Softly coloured landscapes, a tale of uncontaminated nature devoid of the presence of man, places of the soul par excellence, made of light and colour, echo the series of portraits that show the artist's gaze, attentive and inspired in recounting faces. 
Anne Donnelly's creatures are suspended between heaven and earth, between the freedom of flight and the yearning for it. Swans, seagulls, turkeys, chickens and geese become narrative and imago of multiple states of the soul. The exhibition is closed by drawings, snapshots that capture, with a sincere and curious eye, details, people and scenes of country life, which has always and par excellence been a refuge from the frenzy of urban life and the cradle of otium.
