Until 4 January it will be possible to take part in the event that will bring the Christmas atmosphere to the streets of Umbertide, with many activities dedicated to people of all ages.
The programme includes, among the many events: the Author's Crib, on display in Via Garibaldi until 7 January; the opening of Santa's Village on 14 and 15 December, from 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m: 30; on 15 December, the Christmas Market, from 9 a.m., in Piazza Caduti del Lavoro; from 15 December to 22 January, Christmas in Piazza Michelangelo, with hobbyist markets, entertainment by the Baby Circus and a raffle, organised by the merchants; on 24 December, Father Christmas Band, from 4 p.m., with music touring the city streets by the Banda Città di Umbertide; on 26 December, Christmas Concert, at 5 p.m: 00, at the Church of San Francesco; on 3 January, the New Year's Concert ‘Christmas between Umbria and Tuscany’, at 18:00 at the Church of San Francesco di Preggio; on 4 January, Befana Band, with music travelling through the town streets, from 16:00; on 5 January, Concert by the Piacenza Wind Quintet - Ivano Rondoni, entitled ‘Invito all'Opera’, on the occasion of Puccini's celebrations.
Finally, this year's great novelty: on 6 January, La Casa di Babbo Natale (Father Christmas' House) will be transformed into La Casa della Befana (The Witch's House), and will reopen its doors at the Rocca.
