ChristmasLand - Gubbio è Natale 2024
From 23 November 2024 to 6 January 2025, the sixth edition of ChristmasLand - Gubbio is Christmas will be held, the Christmas proposal that will allow visitors to live a unique experience, immersed in the magical atmosphere of Christmas, at the foot of the World's Biggest Christmas Tree.
Protagonists will be the traditions linked to Christmas, in addition to the Christmas Markets, the Artistic Lighting of Piazza San Giovanni, the North Pole Panoramic Wheel, Santa's Sleigh, the Gubbio Express Christmas Train, the Nativity Scenes, and much more.
The event will amaze with marvellous installations and new initiatives within an exciting route designed for all those who want to get involved in the magic of Christmas and the thousand lights of the festivity.
The journey includes an extraordinary itinerary, perfectly integrated into the setting of Palazzo Beni and its collection, to discover the wonderful installations. Approximately 700 square metres of exhibition space inside an ancient aristocratic palace in the heart of the city centre, where past and future merge and traditions combine with innovation. A unique opportunity in which to explore an enchanted world and experience an entertaining moment inside a museum that changes guise, but maintains its value intact.
A journey among Nativity scenes from all over the world, elves, themed sets and surprising illusions. Also, a Christmas fairy tale projected onto a large stone wall, the chance to take a photo with Father Christmas on his majestic throne and, for the little ones, the chance to leave a letter in the post box.
In addition, this year's big news: an amazing life-size hologram of Father Christmas will welcome visitors with a special greeting message.
ChristmasLand will be open from 10 a.m. to 12.20 p.m. (last admission) and from 2.20 p.m. to 6.20 p.m. (last admission), with shifts every 20 minutes and a maximum of 40 people per shift.
