Dolci d'Italia 2024

Dolci d'Italia, the National Festival of Typical Italian Sweets, returns to Spoleto from 1 to 3 November with cooking shows, tastings, workshops, cultural events and entertainment.
The event was created with the aim of publicising the intangible heritage linked to Italian gastronomic culture, the high quality raw materials that are produced and the landscape and architectural context of Spoleto.
From the North to the South to the islands, from the sea to the mountains, from ancient Greece to the Middle Ages to contemporary society, there are numerous influences that have led to the great sweets that can be tasted today.
For three days, Spoleto will be the setting for an exciting journey through sweet treats, promising tasting and educational experiences for everyone: from food enthusiasts and connoisseurs, to journalists, chefs, entrepreneurs and sector operators.
There will be four main theme areas of the kermesse:
Taste Area, with locations in the historical centre hosting markets where the best confectionery products of our peninsula can be tasted and purchased;
Entertainment Area with musical shows, guided tours, games and many activities to have fun in the city;
Sweet Academy, a real school for learning the secrets of the pastry chef's kitchen and the techniques for making masterpieces of goodness;
Piccoli pasticceri crescono (Little Pastry Chefs Grow), a space between play and education where children will be the protagonists.
