From 8 December 2024 to 7 January 2025, the fourth edition of the world's largest Nativity is back in Casacastalda, in an unprecedented version.
The lighting will take place on 8 December and will be an artistic installation based on a stylised drawing by artist Lucia Ciavaglia, winner of the ‘Draw the Nativity’ competition. 
The image, visible from the village's Belvedere, will be drawn using LED lights for an extension of 600 m on the side of a large hill.
The lighting will be held in the presence of the mayor, local authorities, representatives of the Carabinieri and other dignitaries. The work will be lit by the director of the Polo Museale della Città di Gualdo Tadino Catia Monacelli.
The programme of the event includes:
at 5.45 p.m. intervention by the authorities, at 6 p.m. lighting of the Nativity and at 6.30 p.m. lighting of the tree in Piazza XXIV Maggio.
