Music masters! - Harmonies of contemporary art
"Music Masters! - Harmonies of contemporary art" is the title of the exhibition that will be open in Città della Pieve, at the Kossuth Space, from the 22nd April 2017 to the 3rd April 2018.
Music is a dear topic to Kossuth himself, because it played a fundamental role in his formation and work.
The exhibition includes 12 sculptures and ten paintings of the master: halls are going to light up with creations of great emotional impact as well as formal research.
Undisputed protagonist will be music, where virtuosity will give place to abstraction.
Warehouses of the historical bishop's palace are going to host, together with Kossuth's artworks, also other artists who will deal with the topic according to different perspectives, whether taking inspiration from big composers, from performers or instruments: Ottavio Mazzonis, Luisa Albert, Domenica Regazzoni, Biljana Petrovic, Leonardo Lucchi.
Kossuth Space opening times: May, June, July, September Saturday and Sunday 10.30 am - 12.30 pm/ 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm; in August open every day 10.30 am - 12.30 pm/ 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm; open all year round with the ticket of the museum circuit. It's possible to book special openings with guided visits.
Kossuth Space fares: full 4 €; reduced 3 € (over 65, groups with a minimum of 10 people, discounts); reduced 2.5 € (under 25, art schools students, residents); free under 12.
