This itinerary on white dirt roads between challenging climbs and fun descents is sure to provide unforgettable satisfaction.
The most intrepid bikers will appreciate this route that not only challenges them physically, but also immerses them in a portion of Umbrian culture amidst villages and small towns that are evocative and fascinating.
You will ride along white roads - perfect for gravel and mountain bikes - through Pomonte, arriving at Collemancio immersed in the nature of the Alto Tevere.
At Pomonte, bikers can pause to admire its castle, erected in the 13th century, which majestically overlooks the verdant valley below, providing a view of peace and harmony.
After the pass from Pomonte, you come to Collemancio.
Collemancio stands near Cannara, on a small hill overlooking the picturesque nature of Upper Umbria.
Although strongly medieval in character (14th century), its history is known to us as far back as the ancient Romans, as indicated by the archaeological site of Urvinum Hortense, an enchanting place from which to once again appreciate a magnificent panorama.
