From 15 to 31 December 2024, Christmas in Castel Viscardo returns with a rich calendar of Christmas events, designed to celebrate the magic and beauty of this special season in company. The hamlets of the municipality - Pianlungo Scalo, Monterubiaglio, Viceno and Benano - will unite in an enchanted atmosphere, where tradition, creativity and community will be protagonists.
The programme of events includes:
on 16 December, at the Sala Comunale del Teatro in Castel Viscardo at 15:00, the secondary school children will present a special Christmas show accompanied by a market;
21 December will be dedicated to numerous initiatives, including: in Castel Viscardo at 15:00, the children's and young people's catechism bingo; in Monterubiaglio at 17:30, at the Sala del Teatro, the youngest children can deliver their letters to Father Christmas and take part in a reading workshop; in Allerona at 20:00: 30, at the Church, the Polyphonic Choir ‘Canto Libero’ will perform an intense musical review; in Castel Viscardo at 21:30, at the Church SS Annunziata, the Polyphonic Choir of Castel Viscardo will give an evocative Christmas concert;
on 24 December at 17:30, Father Christmas will arrive in the Piazza in Castel Viscardo, ready to distribute snacks to the little ones;
26 December: In Monterubiaglio, the day will be dedicated to memory and culture with the blessing of the plaque in Strada Paris Sabatini and the inauguration of the photographic exhibition ‘Le Fonti di Tiberio’;
on 29 December at 09:00 a.m., you can take part in the ‘Camminata tra Presepi e Mostra Contadina’ (Crib and Countryside Exhibition Walk), which will start from Benano and arrive at Castel Viscardo
31 December will close the month with the Allerona New Year's Eve party, at the Sala Polivalente in Allerona Scalo, from 20:00.
