Domeniche a Colori al Museo Regionale della Ceramica
From 27 October 2024 to 5 January 2025 it will be possible to take part in the edutainment project ‘Coloured Sundays’, aimed at children aged 5 to 12, at the Regional Ceramics Museum of Deruta. The initiative aims to offer children an engaging and fun experience that combines learning and play, to discover the wonderful world of ceramics and the artistic traditions of the city from different angles, both through fun and through explanations and in-depth studies.
Thanks to a dynamic and innovative approach, the new museum activities are designed to stimulate children's curiosity and creativity, bringing them closer to Deruta's rich historical and cultural heritage. ‘Coloured Sundays‘ is based on five guided tours, one per month, starting on Sunday 27 October at 3 pm with the initiative “Maioliche da brivido” (’Scary Majolica"), a Halloween-themed creative workshop in which all the children will be masked. On Sunday 24 November at 3 p.m., it will be the turn of ‘Santa Caterina... Christmas is approaching’, in which a Christmas wreath will be organised using the origami technique. On 1 December at 3 p.m., a ceramic painting workshop with Christmas-themed subjects will be organised for the ‘Christmas handmade’ event.
On 22 December at 15:00 for the ‘Magic of words and colours under the tree’ initiative, a Christmas fairy tale will be read, followed by a special workshop. The last appointment is scheduled for Sunday, 5 January 2025 at 3 p.m. ‘To each his stocking’, a creative workshop to make a unique and special stocking.
For participation in the appointments, the minimum number of participants is 5 and the maximum is 10. The participation fee is 10 euros per child.
