Long-distance race of Mount Cucco

Long-distance race of Mount Cucco

The ninth edition of the Mount Cucco Long-Distance Race will take place on Sunday 11th June, with departure from Costacciaro, a characteristic Umbrian village of ancient origins.

The itinerary is 42 km long with about 1600 metres of difference in altitude: after Costacciaro you will continue for a short stretch travelling along the Flaminia Road and crossing the neighbouring countrysides.

You will then reach Scheggia, where the real climb will start, leading to Mount Cucco, with sections that will be tiring for the participating bikers, who however will be rewarded by the exceptional view at the end.

Once reached the Mount Cucco, the descent will start and will be accompanied by landscapes and views immersed in the uncontaminated nature until the return to Costacciaro.

An alternative to this itinerary is offered by the ecological riding of 25 kilometres and with 800 metres of different in height.
