Between November and December 2024 it will be possible to take part in four appointments to wait for Christmas inside the Benedictine Complex of Santa Croce in Assisi, in a wonderful festive atmosphere.
It will begin on Sunday 17 November, at 4 p.m., with ‘PICCOLI ARTIGIANI PER UN GIORNO’, a creative workshop for children using natural materials to discover manual skills and the pleasure of modelling and creating by reactivating all the senses.
Under the guidance of Mario Morellini, an expert craftsman, children will be able to create their own nativity scene and take it home, using dried flowers, leaves, pine cones and fruit.

Sunday 24 November, at 4 p.m., ‘UNA FINESTRA SUL NATALE’ (A WINDOW ON CHRISTMAS), an event during which people can build an advent calendar to look forward to Christmas together, in cooperation with Perugia's PopUp bookshop.

On Sunday 1 December, at 4 p.m., ‘UN NATALE TUTTO DA MANGIARE’ (‘A CHRISTMAS TO EAT’), a traditional event in the company of chef Luca Fabbri, in which children, equipped with aprons and chef's hats, will make imaginative biscuits to eat or give as gifts.

Finally, on Sunday 8 December, at 11.30 am, ‘APERITIVO IN MUSIC’.
In the Romanesque church of Santa Croce, the Bosco di San Francesco will host a special concert with an exceptional guitar - clarinet duo, to inaugurate the festive season in the right spirit. This will be followed by an aperitif with sweets and mulled wine to immerse oneself in the Christmas atmosphere with all the senses.
