The last appointment of the year for the Movimento Turismo del Vino dell'Umbria is back with Cantine Aperte a Natale (Open Cellars at Christmas), during the first three weekends of December.
The event will offer guided tastings, convivial moments, initiatives for adults and children, and the opportunity to buy tasty gifts directly from the producer to be placed under the tree. 
The list of Open Cellars at Christmas and the related programmes will be as follows:

Goretti Winery
On Saturday 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 15 December from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the appointment is with Goretti wines paired with delicious Panettoni and Torroni artisanal cakes from the ‘Forno di Fontignano’. On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22, Goretti wines will be paired with ‘Augusta Perusia’ chocolate, at the same times (21 December: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The Christmas appointments will be a journey between tradition and quality, also ideal for buying special Christmas gifts including wine and grape-based cosmetic products.

Chiesa del Carmine
The Vineria will be open throughout the festive period for aperitifs, dinners and tastings.); Fridays 6, 13, 20 and 28 December, apericena in Vineria from 7.30 p.m. Saturday 7, 14 and 21 December, pizza night in the Vineria (full menu with pizza, two glasses of wine, €35 per person); Sunday 8, 15, 22 and 29 December, lunch in the cellar from 1 p.m. All by reservation. 

Saio Assisi
The winery will be open every festive week from Monday to Saturday (closed on Wednesdays) with the following programme: 12 noon light lunch with wine tasting and walk through the panoramic vineyards. 1-14 pm full lunch with Umbrian menu, tasting and walk. 5 p.m. aperitif with tasting and walk. The winery will also be open on Sundays 15 and 22 December, by reservation only. 

La Fonte 
The winery will be open throughout the Christmas period for gifts. In addition, on the weekend of 7 and 8 December, the winery will be open for lunch. Sunday 15 December, Christmas wreath-making workshop with final aperitif in the winery (50 per person, reservation only). Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 Christmas aperitif in the decorated veranda overlooking the vineyards, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., reservation required.

Perticaia
On Sunday 8 December, the winery awaits wine tourists for the ‘Tombola del Vignaiolo’ with an afternoon of festivities and tradition, at 3 and 5 p.m. The afternoon includes: a tombola card, a glass of wine, a bruschetta with new EVO oil (€10 per person). Up for grabs for the tombola is a Magnum of Montefalco Sagrantino Docg 2018. 

Fattoria di Monticello
On Sunday 8 December, it will be possible to take part in the Immaculate Conception Lunch, with a special menu, where every dish will be prepared with fresh ingredients, selected to offer a unique and genuine experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
