From harvesting by hand to pressing with the feet, Umbria offers wine lovers the chance to participate once again this year in ‘Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia’ on Saturday 21 and 28 and Sunday 22 and 29 September 2024, at 15 wineries that are members of Movimento Turismo del Vino Umbria
Not only didactic grape harvesting, but also entertainment, tastings and experiences, including snacks based on typical local products, picnics immersed in the vineyards and brunches in the cellar with products from the vegetable garden, the Umbrian wineries open their doors for a sensory journey that celebrates the arrival of the autumn season and the grape harvest.

TERRE MARGARITELLI
On Sunday 22, the famous Pinocchio grape harvest returns! A day's didactic journey from grapes to wine, with manual harvesting, crushing ‘like in the old days’ and lunch at the ‘Il Pollastro’ food truck with proposals for young and old. From 3 p.m. ‘The games of yesteryear’ with Ludo Bus Mamma Mia.

ROCCAFIORE
On Saturday 28 September, the winery will be open for visits and tastings on the outdoor terrace amidst the vineyards.

LE CIMATE
Sunday 22 September Aperitivo al Tramonto from 6.30 p.m. with a guided tour of the winery and tasting of three glasses of wine.

TERRE DE LA CUSTODIA
On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 from 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can discover the real grape harvest accompanied by the winery's oenologist, who will illustrate all the stages.
Afterwards, you can embark on a sensory and taste journey with three wines.

GORETTI
On Sunday 22 September, we will immerse ourselves in the world of wine: 11 a.m. walk to one of the Goretti vineyards to experience the grape harvest, snack in the vineyard, return to the winery and crush the grapes in the vats as in the old days. 1 p.m. lunch in the cellar with a ‘KilometroZero menu’ paired with Goretti wines.

AZ. AGR. CARINI
Harvest Brunch on Sunday 22 September from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a welcome breakfast followed by a walk to discover Vigna Tegolaro, the centuries-old olive grove and the wine production sites.

SAIO
On Sunday 22 and 29, we will be able to harvest grapes as our grandparents did: picking by hand, crushing with our feet in the ancient vat, pressing, and at the end of the activities, picnic lunch on the veranda. Appointment at 10 a.m., activities begin at 10.30 a.m. At 1 p.m. lunch on the veranda.

MORETTI OMERO
On Saturday 21 the winery will be open with wine tasting accompanied by evo oil and typical local products. Sunday 22 there will be Aperipork, wine tasting accompanied by porchetta (roast suckling pig) and cured meats. Sunday 29, a snack in the vineyard for young and old.

LA VENERANDA
Sunday 29, Harvest Festival to spend an unforgettable day of tradition and fun for the whole family, from the grape harvest in the vineyard to the pressing of the grapes, and the tasting of dishes and wines served in the winery's outdoor courtyard.

TENUTA ALZATURA
On Saturday 21, the grape harvest will be celebrated with an interesting educational workshop for young and old: at 11 a.m., visitors can experience the manual harvesting of grapes, visit the vineyards and learn about the various stages of grape processing. Followed by crushing grapes with feet in vats. 12.30 p.m.: snack for the little ones, while adults can taste the estate's wines accompanied by platters of local products.

AGRICOLA MEVANTE
Saturday 21, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., the winery offers a tasting of three glasses paired with typical local products, followed by dinner from 8.30 p.m. in the winery's bistrot with special food and wine pairings. Sunday 22 lunch from 1 p.m., with special food and wine pairings. Saturday 28, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.: Tasting of three glasses paired with typical local products.

LA FONTE
The winery will remain open for a close-up look at the grape harvest and processing phases, and to learn more about the winery's vision of making wine.

PALAZZONE
On Saturday 21 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. the winery will be open for visits and free wine tastings, with the possibility of purchasing all the wines at the point of sale. Sunday 22 from 12 noon Vendemmia Lunch: convivial lunch in the company of the Palazzone winemakers, harvest-themed menu and wine tasting.

CHIORRI
On Sunday 22 September, the winery will open its vineyards to children and adults for the grape harvest festival. You can enjoy a unique experience between the rows of vines and discover as a protagonist how wine is made, starting from the harvest.
The experience includes: 11:30 a.m.: Experience the hand-harvesting of grapes; 12:30 p.m.: visit to the winery with a story of all the processing stages; 1 p.m.: Lunch with an adult or children's menu organised by Il Pollastro; 4 to 7 p.m.: wine tasting in the cellar and music.

ARNALDO CAPRAI
The winery proposes the Tour&Food format, an experience suitable for those who want to approach the world of wine and discover the products of the territory. It will begin with a guided tour of the vineyards, then continue to the winery to discover all the stages of the production process and conclude with an informal tasting of the three most representative labels. Accompanied by bruschetta with EVO oil and a small selection of local cured meats and cheeses.
