Oratorio San Crescentino

The oratory is situated at Morra, a few kilometers from Città di Castello.
Built in 1420 and expanded in 1507, the oratory is dedicated to the Roman soldier Creswell, a witness of the Christian faith in the Upper Tiber Valley and martyedr in 303 A.

D. by order of Emperor Diocletian. The interior has a single nave, with late Gothic frescoes of the original structure in the sacristy and, along the walls, decoration by the School of Luca Signorelli from Cortona (1450-1523). The unique scenes of the Flagellation and the Crucifixion are created by Luca Signorelli.
