"Walks & Good Taste" is back for experiences related to oil tourism together with the "Music and Tastings among the Olive Trees and in the Abbeys of Umbria" event. This combination of events will give rise to a calendar of walks that will lead visitors to discover villages with an olive-growing vocation, farms and oil mills. The walk will conclude with visits to abbeys, where live music concerts will be held.
The first appointment will be held on Saturday 22 June, starting at 4 p.m., in Perugia with a visit to Frantoio Batta for a tasting of the award-winning Umbria PDO oil and to the Abbey of San Pietro for a concert by the Duo Malastrana composed of Mosè Chiavoni, on clarinet and bass clarinet, and Luciano Biondini on accordion.
The second event will follow, on Saturday 10 August 2024 in Todi, with a walk among the olive trees and places of art, followed by a tasting of oil from the La Casella oil mill in Todi and wine at the Nido dell'Aquila where the concert of the Tritone Trio will be held.
The third appointment is scheduled for Saturday, 7 September 2024 in Foligno, for a walk among the olive trees and in the ilex grove surrounding the Abbey of Santa Croce in Sassovivo, with a return visit to the Abbey, a tasting of the e.v.o. oils of the Clarici farm and a concert by Andrea Rellini.
