From 3 October to 3 November 2024, Pumpkin Umbria, the great pumpkin festival, returns to Madonna di Baiano (Spoleto).
After the success of the last two editions, the format of an agricultural event dedicated to the world of pumpkins is confirmed, following the American ‘Pumpkin patch’ festival, which has now become part of the Italian tradition.
The public, as always, will be involved in a series of playful activities and workshops, which this year will feature the peasant games of yesteryear revisited in a modern key.
From sack races to tug-of-war, pumpkin throwing and colour mazes, to name but a few. 
Also confirmed are some of the most successful attractions from previous years, including the Pumpkin Race karts and the pumpkin decorating and carving workshops, which will be joined by many new displays and other attractions to be discovered.
The outdoor areas of the villa hosting the event will be animated with cute characters from the best-loved animated films of the moment: from the Minions to Inside Out and many others.
Finally, numerous educational activities will combine play and biodiversity education. Schoolchildren, with educational workshops, will be able to discover all the stages of growing a pumpkin: from working the soil to sowing and growing the plant: from seed to fruit, also discovering the different types and uses of pumpkins.
