The event Un Palco di Vini, organised by the Strada dei Vini Etrusco Romana, will take place at the Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto and will propose a series of appointments, culminating in the tasting of wines from local wineries, from 14 November 2024 to 30 May 2025.
Guided tours inside the Mancinelli Theatre will also be possible during the tastings.
The first appointment will be held on Thursday 14 November from 6 to 8 p.m., on the occasion of the preview of Amedeo Minghi's musical show, and will propose a tasting of selected wines, for a combination of culture and wine tourism in the territory.
The next appointments will be:
29 November 2024 with the presentation of the book ‘Il Mercante di Seta Nera’ (The Merchant of Black Silk) by director Antonio Centomani, theatrical readings extrapolated from the book in period costume by well-known actors, (to enhance the various roles in the theatre)
6 December 2024 Artistic performance by Tamara Irene Pierbattisti, fashion paintings by fashion designer Sabrina Attiani, Alta Moda Roma;
on 31 January 2025 ‘Orvieto meets Naples’, tasting of Neapolitan products, performances by the singers of the New Generation of the Naples Festival;
14 February 2025 Appointment with the Argentine tango with world champions wearing Atelier Galimbertissima dresses;
on 19 March 2025 Presentation of Orvieto's bubbles on the Torre del Moro;
on 20 April 2025 ‘Taste the music, listen to the wine’ by Azienda Poggio di Madis
on 30 May 2025 ‘Wine is young, didactics about wine’, an artistic performance by a pupil of the ‘Amici’ school.
