The Parrot by Leoncillo Leonardi
It is a sculpture in painted ceramic, in the museum of Palazzo Collicola in Spoleto. The bird was modeled in the Spoleto Baroque phase, which ended in 1956, when the artist, in the words of Roberto Longhi, determined the relief not with sculpture but with painting.
