The first edition of the AMOLIO event will take place in Montefalco over the weekend of 7-8 December 2024.
The programme includes on Saturday 7 December: a Trekking in the countryside, departing at 10:30 a.m. from Piazza del Comune in Montefalco, lasting about 3 hours (cost €15 per person - info and reservations: 347/9425118); a guided tour to discover the village of Montefalco, to admire the hidden art treasures and unique views of the Ringhiera dell'Umbria, departing at 10:30 a.m. from Piazza del Comune (cost €10 per person - reservations required, limited places: 347 948378).
On the same day, at 16:30, it will be possible to take part in the Conferences on the book ‘Il dono di Minerva ad un decennio dalla pubblicazione’ and ‘Olio extra vergine di oliva tra qualità e innovazione di processo’.
On Sunday 8 December, from 2.30 pm in Piazza del Comune in Montefalco, it will be time for the ‘L'ulivo in Piazza’ festival, dedicated to olive oil, a symbol of tradition and richness of the territory. The undisputed protagonist will be the Olive Tree, emblem of history and culture. It will be a convivial occasion to rediscover authentic flavours with tastings of freshly toasted bruschetta topped with extra virgin olive oil.
