Between villages and castles - Christmas 2024 in Marsciano
The magic of Christmas is back in Marsciano, from 8 to 24 December 2024, with numerous initiatives to experience the traditions and beauty the area has to offer. From the magnificent medieval villages to the landscapes, from works of art to cultural proposals and typical food and wine productions.
The programme of events includes:
Sunday 8 December a free excursion to discover the Circuit of the Madonnas of Mercy, to admire some of the most significant works of Renaissance painting in the Marsciano municipal area;
Tuesday 10 December at 9 p.m. at the Teatro Concordia, The Christmas Concert with the Perugia Big Band Lab orchestra;
on 14 and 15 December, at Palazzo Pietromarchi from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., The ‘Artisans at the Museum’ Christmas market, with entertainment activities for children, with workshops, animations and shows
from 21 December to 6 January, at the Brick and Terracotta Museum, Roberto Gili's painting exhibition, which can be visited on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m;
on 6, 7 and 8 December, in Spina, the Oil Festival and Christmas markets;
on 7 December at 5 p.m., at Castello delle Forme, ‘Waiting for Christmas’ children's choir, lighting of the tree, readings and tastings
on 7 December at 6.30 p.m., at the Brick and Terracotta Museum, ‘Read me a story’ readings for families and children
on 8 December at 6.30 p.m., at Largo della Vittoria, lighting of the Star and Christmas trees with the participation of Perugia Calcio management and players
on 13, 14 and 15 December, at the historical centre, Festa degli Ulivi, dedicated to extra virgin olive oil
on 22 December, from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., and on 24 December, from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., at Largo della Vittoria, Father Christmas's House Under the Star, a postal delivery for children's wishes with creative workshops and entertainment organised by the Leisure Time Playroom.
