From 19 October to 17 November 2024, eight municipalities of the Lands of Oil and Sagrantino will join together to celebrate the beauty of the territory through a special cultural and gastronomic journey thanks to the Festival del Sol, the first diffuse festival of walking in Umbria.
Immersive events will be offered in spectacular locations.
The programme includes: 19 October - Campello sul Clitunno: Dio Clitunno; 20 October - Montefalco: Il Monte del Falco; 26 October - Gualdo Cattaneo: I Tori Inginocchiati; 1 November - Trevi: Teatro d'Amore; 3 November - Castel Ritaldi: Il Colle del Marchese; 3 November - Giano dell'Umbria: I Briganti; 16 November - Massa Martana: Il Vento e la Rupe; 17 November - Bevagna: L'Acqua di Giacomo.
The first stage on 19 October will start at the Auditorium Campello at 3 p.m. Like an open-air theatre, to be discovered and enjoyed, strolling through the ancient alleys of the castle and through natural environments of rare beauty, where springs dedicated to the cult of the God Clitunno emerge, in the company of actor Roberto Biselli.
The final stop will be the Auditorium, with a free tasting in the square in front, organised by the Azienda Agraria Marfuga
