FAI Summer Evenings are back in Umbria with two wonderful events on 27 July and 17 August.
On Saturday 27 July at 9 p.m., at the Bosco di San Francesco in Assisi, there will be a ‘goodnight concert’, a special event that will involve listening to Michelangelo Pistoletto's Land art work in relaxation mode, immersed in nature. It will be an invitation to abandon oneself to music with every sense to dream lulled by the sound of musical instruments, in the company of the stars.
The concert is in collaboration with the International Green Music Festival.
On Saturday 27 August at 9 pm, however, it will be the turn of ‘Creature Notturne’, a journey into the mystery and darkness of the night with naturalist Dr. Carlo Albanese: the forest comes alive at night and is populated by mysterious and shy creatures. Badgers, wolves, owls, barn owls, moths and fireflies will be some of the evening's protagonists. In silence we will go in search of their tracks and other signs of their presence.
