Stagione Artistica 2024 - 2025 - Teatro Cucinelli
The new theatrical season of the Cucinelli Theatre in Solomeo will run from October 2024 to May 2025, with a rich programme that will take participants on a fantastic journey through art, culture and entertainment, ranging from the great classics of literature to innovative proposals and contemporary theatre.
On Sunday 10 November, Shlomo Mintz, violin and conductor, will perform in concert with the Perugia Chamber Orchestra.
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November will see the performance ‘Il tango delle capinere’, directed by Emma Dante.
On Sunday 8 December, Nurie Chung and Martina Consonni will take the stage for a violin and piano concert.
Sunday 12 January will be the turn of pianist Arsenii Moon, overall winner of the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition 2023.
Sunday 19 January will see the performance ‘Cinderella’ by Zaches Teatro.
Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 January ‘Iliad, the play of the gods’, a performance freely inspired by Homer's Iliad.
Friday 21 February ‘Boston Marriage’ by David Mamet.
On Sunday 23 February, music will return with the Quartetto Altemps, formed by Stefano Barneschi and Fabio Ravasi on violins, Ernest Braucher on viola and Marco Testori on cello.
Sunday 2 March ‘The Idiot’, an adaptation of Dostoevsky's novel, with Saburo Teshigawara and Rihoko Sato.
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March ‘Pinocchio’, a performance by Eugenio Monti Colla, based on the novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.
Sunday 13 April Massimiliano Ferrati and Johannes Skudlik will perform a concert dedicated to Mozart, with the Perugia Chamber Orchestra.
Lastly, on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April, it will be the turn of ‘Traviata, ti meriti un futuro migliore’, a performance in French and Italian, spoken and sung, supertitled in Italian, from Giuseppe Verdi's Traviata.
